The goal of these pieces is to create a functional form whose visual mass is centered around this green dot, with limited gestural designs that respond to the vessel's curvature rather.
During making - my goal was negative space. To make only a few design addition but make each choice visible and consequential. That's what gives this collection its combination of looseness, movement, and intentionality.
